heading towards a better and healthier lifestyle

schedule 18 Jan 2016

Gidday, I made it through my first week of living a smoke-free lifestyle and after a weekend of birthdays parties, a couple of bevy's, not once I had an urge but did look over at those who were smoking in the far corners of the backyards.

I'm very happy with my achievements and as a reward I adopted a 3yr old Labrador from the RSPCA and now I have another buddy to walk with around the lake in the evenings when I have my strongest cravings (after dinner)

Keep strong on your journey and remember to acknowledge yourself every night because you're made it through that day smoke-free!!

Well done Desi. Keeping active is a great way to keep the cravings away - enjoy your walks with your new best friend!

High 5s Desi.

Congratulations Desi. Just keep on resisting and you'll eventually get to the point where resisting is the only option. For me, six months, but the easy resistance easily overcomes the temptation. It does get easier.

Keep up the good work.
