Day 77...

Day 77 Guys... been off this forum, as I wanted to put smoking out of my mind, while dropping off the 12 weeks of Champix..
$1600 saved, and have been off champix 2 weeks now.
just FYI.. Champix drop off feels like you have week 3 moods, for 2 weeks, in my experience.. my wife asked me to start smoking again last week, rather than being so short tempered and explosive.. every little situation is like a huge drama..
Over it now, and did not smoke, as ut was too hard to give up and do that all over again, so still 77 days in, and seem to be over the crazy man champix staqe now..
I have picked up 12 kg that i need to loose now, but tried dieting last week, and decided that doing that and stopping champix may be too much, so I am gonna take it easy until after xmas, just keeping in mind to eat better, as this quit attempt was hard on my system, and my body just needs time to adjust..
I need to be gentle and just stay quit until next year, then deal with the weight..
Thanks for all the support recieved on this forum to make my quit attempt a success, and i will pop back occasionaly to see how you guys are going..
Well done for staying quit Shasha and FOH, and all the others that walked the path with me.. we are doing great - be proud - it was hard.

Yep - great that we've persevered. It's because we had determination and found this great forum which helped when we flagged. Congratulations Dave. May we be swapping good wishes a year down the track.

Hi Dave:
Good for you Mate. Remember, every withdrawal incident is a skirmish and just as in a war, the single most important skirmish to win is the next one!
Keep up the good fight Dave.

Hey Dave, great going.I was in terrible form the past few, days too! O did my 10k run btw and didn't smoke afterwards, lol.I wouldn't be too concerned about the extra kilos. A couple of half hour walking sessions a week will help😊 also helps the noggin for me!!

Good for you Dave. I check in occasionally as I need to divert from smoking also. You are doing an excellent job! I am in Day 55 and you have been a great inspiration and support.

Its going to be a long journey but i know i can do it.1 step at a time.36 yrs of smoking is enough.
