Still smokefree

Posted in Staying quit
schedule 17 Sep 2015

I'm back! Hope everyone is still on track with quitting the stinky sticks. We had our son's wedding, which was fabulous and I didn't smoke. We had loads of parties and I didn't smoke. Also had some horrible news and I didn't smoke. This does not mean, I did not feel tempted at times....but I am now 57 days smokefree. If I can do it, anyone can.....How are you Nannette?

Hi Linda, welcome back, glad to hear your sons wedding went well. I thought of you the other day and thought your return must be close. How good is 57 days. You have done so well.its a roller coaster ride in terms of emotions though. You did well surviving the horrible news.iI have had a few instances where something goes wrong and you think " I need a dart " , but now something stops me and I think ,NO this is life and I have to get through without it. I'm cruising along nicely now, from about day 68 I actually feel normal , if there is such a thing. Just not giving darts much thought at all now. Feather,Lizzie and cranky are still going strong So it's nice to have you back on the cheer squad. Even feather said in one of her posts none of us thought we would get this far,but as they say beware of girls on a mission. Looking forward to your future posts xxx
