Oh what a feeling

It's such a great feeling to wake up in the mornings. After my night out, I feel happy and refreshed this morning instead of having the whole day ruined. It's great knowing that I CAN do it & still have an enjoyable night. I think practice makes perfect - if we keep practicing we will get there. Just as I've got over the urge to have one with my morning coffee over time I hope I will get over the urge to have one with a drink or social event. Maybe I'm being impatient & just need to remember these things take time and it will get better, I'm not doomed forever after all!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend breathing in the fresh air xx

You will get there!

That's very inspiring Bronte and I know how you feel about first things first. I have become acclimatised to drinking coffee inside and at different times. Nothing, however, has settled me down about the witching hour between about 6.00-7.00pm. Tonight, I resorted to snacking and housework in the hope that one counteracts the other. I am glad you were able to enjoy tour night out.

Hi Bronte well Done I would say you have had a "Top Night Out " how good is it to wake up the next day without that thick coating of crap on your tongue from darts the night before. You are just getting stronger and stronger everyday. Goooo girl xxxxx

Hi Bronte, well done! I'm too scared to go out drinking and I'm missing the social aspect of it! it's only early days for me though (day 34!!). I'm glad you enjoyed your night out😀

Thanks all for your replies. Kazzy, in the early days, I would definately recommend avoiding the drinks, unless of course you plan it with a non smoker at home where there's no chance of slipping, that's what I did for practice.
