Scenario: Staying Quit

Hi All, I would like to share this story to the all my colleagues. Today I went to our Office in my job and saw my Supervisor. She asked me to smoke outside of the Office with her. I replied that I have quit smoking almost a year now( August9 2014. She didn't say anything, she just smile. But, I can go outside and talk to you, I replied. She lit her cig, and we had a good conversation while she smoke and I don't. I was very happy with myself that moment because I was in control of myself, and not nicotine controlling me. I just want to say that we can quit smoking, and stay quit! I enjoy being a non-smoker. Thank you for reading my post. Best wishes!

Woohoo well done !! I know I am so pleased to know there is a happy ending :-)

Hi Jojie, you have always been such a huge inspiration and a wealth of encouragement to me. Thank you for continuing on here with such great support! Really...well done.

Thank you Lizzie, and Bronte you both are inspiration in my quit Journey. I am happy that my cravings are gone, and so as temptations. I am happy that I am free :). It can be done.

I don't think you have a great supervisor jojie. I think it's really horrible of her to ask you to come outside while she smoked. It is very unprofessional...

Hi Jojie one year tomoz, wow you are my shining light and you gave me the idea to not only count the days I haven't smoked but to countdown to one year. You are inspiring keep strong and congratulations.

Thank you soo much..Lindavan, and Nannette. You both keeps me motivated. As far as my Supervisor goes; She happens to be an RN, but then she's only human. Right now she is going through a crisis in her life, and I feel bad for her. Well, again I am proud of myself for not being a slave to tobacco. More power to you both :).
