We all can do this!!

Hi thanks for your message I can Quit and yes it has been quite a while since I was last on your website. I am so happy to say that I still have not had even a puff of a cigarette in 9 months and am very proud of myself and so are my family and friends. If I can do it under the stress of what has happened since my husband passed away suddenly four years ago on this Saturday anyone can. I have to say is that the biggest motivation for me to stay a non smoker is that my daughter suffered PTSD after her father died and suffered from depression and an eating disorder. So I thought if she can bring herself back through lots of love and hard work then I can do this for her and my son who has been our rock through all the hard times. So thank you too to I can quit as you helped me through this as well. So all of you out there you can do it. It has also enabled me to go on a holiday next week to Airlie Beach Queensland and to do some desperately needed renovations around my house.
Thank you xx

Your journey is inspirational. When I think about it, smokers are egocentric and this is not a desirable trait. When we don't have to focus on when / where the next nicotine fix will come from then there is a greater opportunity to focus on what is happening around us. You have done this and can reward yourself appropriately. And you have.

Thank you Lia. You are right in what you say. My other goal was to be a non-smoker by the time I turned 50 so at my 50th party I had been a non smoker for 6 months. Everyone go for it. :)
