Hi Guys , just filling you all in on my friend the one that she started coughing up blood , well took her awhile to get the results, not that it make getting the results, easier , but she is cutting back , i wish she would cut them out all together but hey who am i to say ? i am still not smoking but i find that being around those that smoke it really getting to me as all my friends smoke , they smoke in my car and i really notice it on my clothes and hair now . But , what do you think , need your advice , i use to smoke in their car when i smoked , should i ask them not to smoke , last wekk we had to go to a birthday party about 1 hour away , anyway i am always the driver , 2 of my friends smoke so in the car the whole way there they must of smoked at least 4 each , i might as well of been smoking myself .i didn't but , are your friends expected to make adjustments for you ? are you just because you gave up smoking suppose to make adjustments for them ? what would you do
Hey it's your car and your space if you don't want people smoking in your that your right.If they are true friends they would support you and respect your wishes good luck
Yes you have every right to say...."No smoking in MY car" but be prepared to makea couple of pitt stops to relieve their needs....outside in the cold and rain if that is the weather at time....their choice. I gave up for 10 years because I was bringing littlies into the world and had had no issue in telling my father-in-law to go outside for his ciggie....he caleed me "a bastard" but I stuck to my guns. Sadly due to circumstances I am know back on the rail tracks of trying to give up but I felt good in being fair....I never said he could not smoke just not in my confined area.
Hi Monni. Even when I smoked heavily there was no smoking in my house or car. Always stopped for a smoke when travelling. My smoking friends never seemed to mind.
