Egging myself on

Hi all you aspiring quitters(also those who have already begun their journey toward quitting smoking). I have reached the 44th day of having completely quit smoking today and it is beginning to feel better each day, trust me on that! I am getting healthier, looking better and dealing with stress in a much more efficient way now:) My way is not to think too much about it and even though there are other normal routine things in life which I need to improve-such as my job, personal relationships and restarting sports/extra curricular activities etc, I am gaining the strength to do so because quitting cigarettes has given me utter confidence and a great sense of well being! Friends, please believe me when I say that all your 'other issues' in life will get sorted out gradually and even if it seems like an ardous process, you will at least gain control over them slowly but surely, if you stick to your 'quit' plan. Best of luck to all and CHEERS :)

Thanks Allot My dear friend for your encouragement, so am i feel all this things and i have reached the 40Th day i will never look back inshaa-allah

A message to Abdiasis, always look back and don't kid yourself that "quitting" happens just because you have stopped smoking. When will smokers realise that they can never truly quit? At some point a so called quitter might succumb to a reward... Something I know as my craving called "Margaret Thatcher" will invite me to do whenever I reach any target. Always ready to tell HER where to go... Also know she will never give up trying. Have you ever heard someone who has never smoked sigh and say they wish they might have a cigarette. Doubt it.

I am afraid your comments are a bit discouraging Lia-also not very true (don't blame you for that since your comments do have weightage at the same time). A question: Have you ever seen anybody quit and never go back again? I asked because I have- my uncle who quit around 12 years back and seems to have done it for good! Abdiasis and Lia- I agree the 'demons' will take a while before giving up but you have a God inside you to tackle them-Remind yourselves of the benefits and the other way is also to continue evolving in life-that will motivate you- CHEERS!
