day 8 and counting

Posted in Staying quit
schedule 30 Jul 2015

I cannot believe it's day 8 already...time flies. I thought to myself this morning...why not have a small one? no one would know, no one would see. It would have been so easy just to duck out and have a ciggie. I didn't and I won't. I would only be disappointing myself again and starting to count from day 1. Trying to keep strong.

Hi Lindavan. Gr8 job. The reward is NOT having a cigarette. Bet your decision to abstain made you feel better than if you had caved in...

That's right Lia. I am happy I didn,t cave.

Hi LIndavan, you are going soooo well and you have already done ONE WEEK and now you are sooo close to hitting "Double Digits DAY 10" Reward yourself by banking your Dart money. That's what I do first thing every morning when I get to work. Im really proud that you stayed on the team and took one for the team buy not giving in. I reckon the first month is hard but when its ticked off, life is sweet, buggar all cravings soooo hang in there. Very proud of you XXXXX

Well done Lindavan for not giving in. You've been tested and showed strong willpower and great reasoning. You'll do really well.

Hi Lindavan

I just had a baptism last weekend with plenty of smokers at the BBQ after ....stayed strong although it was difficult at times. Stay alert and wary ...of yourself ;-)

Well done too on 8 days
