Get angry - but at the tobacco, not yourself!

Usually I prefer to stay positive about my quitting, but tonight's cravings were making me particularly upset. And then that upset turned into burning anger at tobacco and what I'd let it do to me, and the fact that the after effects could plague me for a long while yet (I'm only just on my second week!), and it helped me release some pressure and stop being so stressed and upset. (To be honest, I actually shouted at it... thank goodness I was alone at home :) ). It cemented my decision all the more, I'm sick of being the victim and I won't ever let it do that to me again!

I know how that feels. I think it's good to let that anger out. Even if it means screaming if you have to. You've got to let go of the emotions somehow and it's a good way to deal with it instead of keeping it inside. Kicking a punching bag is also good. Keep up the good work, wishing you well!
