Staying focused

I was not prepared in any way for this on the spot decision to become a non-smoker. I have no additional snacks, gum or nicotine replacement therapies. What I do have already is $25 taking prize place on my fridge door. I have a few affirmations that I used last time I quit that spring to mind readily as long as I stay conscious of where my mind is lingering. I began instantly to write a Journal, jotting down everything and anything that may help me. I keep that as close to me as my cigarette pack was just three days ago.

Congratulations Pamma, looks like you have a good strategy going on there. Hey, whatever works do it. Just quit smoking for yourself. I quit smoking 5 months ago cold turkey. I am very proud of myself, I love the benefits of not smoking I feel awesome ;). It gets easier as time goes. Good luck to you, you can do it. I did.
