Well its Day 50 and I am quite confident that I will never smoke again. I made it through the festive season without a single craving let alone slip up. 

What I think really helps is not being around smokers, I have changed my habits to avoid being in a situation were I will be around smokers, especially at work.

Well heres looking forward to the next 50 days. Yay me. :)

Well done anzac71. I am on day 2 of my 5th attempt to quit. My last effort was nine months. This time I am going to beat this monster.

Thanks guys, only issue I am having is the dreaded snacking. It the main reason I have failed other attempts. I quit which I find easy to do and then start putting on weight due to replacing smoking with snacking.

Great going! I'm on day 2 myself and reading about where you're at keeps me motivated. I want to kick this once and for all. After 30 years smoking and numerous quit attempts, something has to give. You're doing a great job anzac71. Best wishes.
