Day 19
So excited that Im where I am at on this journey. My six year old will even have to make me a new STAR chart as I have nearly filled it up. My husband has joined me on this journey and is 5 days behind me, bur really determined to be a non smoker and has been very supportive especially when im a tad irritable. Our daughter made him a star chart too and he gets big smiley face stickers on his. Our daughter is very proud of us and ensures she keeps our stickers up to date. I often look at our star charts and Im really proud we are doing it. I rang the quitline again last week and I must say they are a great support and very good at talking through the issues that you are having, so highly recommend them in times when you are struggling. I an feeling more like a non-smoker every day and my kids are so proud. My daughter loves marking off my chart everyday and apparently I'll be getting a prize on day 40 (can't wait to see what the kids come up with). Also, my thirteen year old daughter now owes me 1 million dollars because she bet me that I couldn't quit! Here's to you three weeks, I know you can do it!!!!
