Little temptations
I'm now 76 days without a cigarette and can honestly say I haven't noticed any difference with taste, or shortness of breath. I have noticed that when I take a big breath in I no longer have to cough straight away afterwards and it doesn't cause me any pain.
I don't think about smokes very often now, and when I do it's usually fleeting. I remind myself that I've gone too long to take them back up now.
Every so often I'll dream about having a smoke, and boy is it good. I always feel guilty for having one in my dream and when I wake up and realise I didn't actually have one I feel relieved.
The non smoking gets easier with every day, I just have to keep reminding myself that I really don't want one when a craving hits, the craving won't last long and if I have a particularly bad one I just go and talk to someone for a few minutes.

Hey Quittinformykids! Nice to see a post from you, I have been wondering how everyone was doing that started out around the same time I did. So glad to hear you are still going strong! I am at day 84 and feeling pretty darn good! I don't get cravings often, really only just if I am in a party type situation and having drinks. A couple of times when the cravings were bad I had a few pulls off of my husbands ecig - which has no nicotine, and that did the trick but I have only done it twice in almost 3 months so I don't feel too guilty. :). I am still on champix, I don't think I could have gotten through the first month without it, but I reduced my dose to just one pill a day after the first month so I have no side effects and I still am smoke free, so it's working! I will just finish my packet and be done with it. I am a non smoker now! We can give ourselves a big pat on the back! Congrats to you!!!

As I'm only just starting out it was great to see your posts and makes me think I might actually be able to get there myself. All the best
Congratulations!! I'm proud of you. I just hope I can keep my quit too.
