Day 15 today!!

I manage to get through a long weekend as yesterday was a public holiday. I thought it would be difficult as my hubby was working and I had a lot of time on my hands. I did it. I kept busy, reading, cooking and watching a movie.

On Sunday being father’s day was my first gathering since stopping. Got through no problem.

Yesterday 1 of or friends popped in for a visit, this is the only smoker friend we have, hubby and he sat outside and the visitor cleaned the ash tray when leaving!

Great work Jenni! I am on Day 15 also. Everyday is certainly getting better and I don't regret my decision to stop one bit! Good luck on your journey!

LOL! I thought Jenni's comment about Father's Day was quite normal, but I live in Canada! I had no idea that Australia had a different day. I actually signed up with this site not even realizing it was Australia until a couple of days later, but I liked the site so much I just stayed with it, besides I love the way everyone calls each other mate! Think I will adopt that! :). And jenni way to go, day 15 is fantastic! Keep going, don't you feel great now? I love how I can breathe so easy and don't have to worry about smelling like an ashtray! Keep up the great work jenni and cupcakes!

Here's another Aussie word for you - FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC! It means great work Jenni!

I would say the first 72 hours were my hardest time with this. then after 2 weeks I really started to think that I can do it with more confidence because the cravings became minimal.

Today I'm on day 50 cold turkey
