Just thrilled.

Hi all, never thought I'd be able to say this, but I've been a non smoker for six months today! I know I'll have to keep my guard up against that nasty little nicotine demon, probably for the rest of my life, but I can honestly say it feels more natural now not to smoke. I laid in bed this morning and thought this is how I held a cigarette, then I'd put it in my mouth and breathe in. Did the hand motions a few times, and nothing felt right or in the least tempting. Yay, how I've longed to get to this point. Please, anyone just starting their journey, or wavering a little, keep strong, you will reach a point where it is so much easier, and it will come sooner than you think. Seems like only yesterday I said to my daughter "I'm day three of not smoking" and burst into tears. Lol....

Well done Dottily on your success. 6 months is such a long time, I bet you feel terrific!
