Silly trigger

I'm day 100+++, thought I'd faced all the temptations. Just hard to believe tonight in South East Qld we have a long awaited storm. Not going to give in but in my silly head a storm is equated with sitting outside and smoking. How daft and unexpected is that longing? Only reason I'm posting is to warn others how crazy a sudden longing can be!

How true! Even though you have to get on with your life, you also have to be ever vigilant. It's such a huge change. I've been quit for eight days but I have to take into account I smoked for twenty.

100+ days wow congratulations. Can't wait till I'm at 100+ days. I think temptations are also going to be there my sister in law has been quit for about 8 years and still says she could have a puff. Keep up the great work

Thanks guys, so far I've found the triggers you can anticipate, such as a drink with smoking friends, far easier to cope with than these out of the blue, memory related longings. But hey they are just memories, not physical cravings anymore, and posting on here when they happen really does help. Stay strong, it honestly does get easier as you go.
