Its been 228 days since my last cig. I cant believe I am on the other side. It is true all I read when I first started on here it is easier. I very rarely think of having a cig now and whe I do it is a fleeting moment and not a craving its more a habit of a situation , a learnt behaviour really over years being unlearned.

All I can say to all that are struggling , keep going, get through the hard bits and enjoy the other side it is well worth it. Those who have read my story will know that my struggle was right up there, nicotine withdrawals, emotional craziness, tears, anger etc. and all that by getting ready for brain tumour op and now recovery.

It is taking longer to recover then anticipated but a lot of it is because I smoked for so long.

Give up now before it really takes hold and you end up living with regret of not, and saying 'what if'.

I can now say 'what if' is not part of my story now. I can.

Find the inner strength and keep going.Dont let it win .

Good work Marg, i can so relate to how you feel with the withdrawals, it is a fleeing moment and its undoing the years of programming we had that smoking made everything better! congratulations, I have your target to look forward to, I'm 86 days and counting!
