I wanted to let everyone know that today i am 63 days smoke free. Never in a million years would i have thought that i could have done that. Most days i think gee i'd love a smoke or just one wouldnt hurt, no-one would know. But the reason for my success is that im doing it only for me. no-one else would know if i had just one, but i would..... and so i havnt had a smoke for 63 days. i miss it but know im better off without it. if i can do it, anyone can. good luck, stay strong, you CAN do it.

Hi RJ, well done, good stuff....I think you hit the nail on the head , you have to be doing it for yourself and no-one else...and you are right you would know, if you had one... you seem to be determined so well done you... I do have the same feelings, would like to have one every now and then , but I know it us not worth it.... it is final ...and that is what is hard.... you go between days where you are armed well against the thoughts....and days where you are grand and laid back and fine.... and then the thoughts creep in longing for one even for a split second...and the guard comes up once again....it seems to be cycles like that ... anyways well done and stay strong keep it up...

Good for you to give the triggers a miss. That is the hardest too to be able to let go. I think deep down we all know that the time has come which is why we are so much better at it this time. Keep up the good work and well odne once again.

Great job!

I had an urge last night - out with some friends - some who were smokers.

Off they went and I thought - I really want one now.

Back they came - and they totally stank - not nice at all.

I privately thought to myself - I'm better than that - and nobody minds sitting next to me now!
