187 days!!

Logged onto this site today, and realised it's been 187 days smoke free today! feeling really proud of myself! The quit journey has had its ups and downs, but exercise, eating healthier, and staying focused mentally have really helped.
I actually dreamt one night, I had a cigarette. I was so disappointed in myself, and woke up, feeling really confused as to why I was dreaming about smoking. But it really re-inforced how disappointed I would be in myself to take it up again.
To everyone starting out... the beginning is the hardest, and it DOES get easier. Take it a day at a time. Have strategies in place for the cravings, and as this website suggests, put alot of effort and thought into WHY you smoke, WHEN you smoke, and take the time to really plan your quit attempt. I firmly believe that is what has helped me so far, and has made this my most successful quit attempt yet! I am really feeling like a non smoker now!!
