Remain busy & forget about cigerettes

My last smoke was on Friday 17th May/13 at approx. 5:45pm, I haven't smoked a cigarette for an entire month, of course its still very early to say I will be successful permanently and will never smoke again, I'm just taking each day at a time with placing my NRT PATCH on each morning, I also alternate with my patches 14 mg one day & the next day 21 mg, it's been a little easier during the last month due to being so busy at work, I work different shifts & surprised I didn't crave for a cigarette especially during my night shifts working on my own. I was spending appromatly $54-aussie dollars each week on smokes & from day one in giving up I arranged for $25-per week to go towards my mortgage & the other $29-toward going out for the occasional meal. I have just recently booked my next holiday overseas to Cambodia & Sri Lanka, of course this will when I'll need more will-power especially with very cheap smokes & the relaxation when socialising with other people... I just have to keep reminding myself ...... KEEP GOING & PAY OFF MY MORTGAGE FASTER !!!!!

Thats great Stevexsmoker, 1 month down. Funny how you see the just how much money we were spending on smoking while we smoked, Such alot of money up in smoke and we didnt even think about it.Good to see that your using the money that your saving to good use.
Good luck and keep posting xx

Well done Steve like the idea that you've already booked a holiday. Keep up the good work
