3rd day today... Just got home from work.. I was ok today until i came home.. I am so tempted to have just one !  : /  I know ! I know ! :/

My afternoon ritual is come home from work , make a cuppa T and have a cigarette on my back verandah while saying hello to my chickens .... (My relax time) ..  I feel like I am fighting with my kids and my husband :) god luv him is out side staying away from me ..  Am I strong enough to have just one ?

schedule 15 Mar 2013

You should be strong enough to say no altogether!!! That's why you're quitting, so that you don't have to go through this nasty addiction anymore.

You are stronger than you appear to be, deep down you know you really don't "NEED" one! Right? Good luck! :-)

schedule 15 Mar 2013

Hey mamogirl - I have often said my 3rd day was the very worst day of all. I don't know why, and day 7 came 2nd. But - if you manage day 3, then 4, 5 & 6 are easier and then get over day 7 and you are home free. Count the hours if you like. I did. I HAD to have some sense of accomplishment. In fact I counted every minute as a victory becaue I wanted a smoke every minute. Hang in there!!

schedule 15 Mar 2013

Yes i have been strong!! :) I am determined to be a non smoker. I Survived the dreaded day 3 .. lets hope day four is a tad easier ? Ha lots of early nights .. I do find if i go to bed early much easier to control cravings Goodnight x

schedule 16 Mar 2013

Its 3.06 pm and my 4th day... I am feeling much better today :)

schedule 17 Mar 2013

THANKS Leighdo , you were so right when you said about the 3rd day the worst, I am day 5 and feeling so much better.. oh not looking forward to day 7 tho.. It really does upset me that such a thing has so much control over oneself.. I feel like a bloody junkie the way it had control!

schedule 17 Mar 2013

Hi! Day 3 was horrible, I'm with you there and I was surprised that day 6 was the same... I'm day 9 and I've been craving a bit, that's why I've spent so much time on this site this afternoon!!! And hot, HOT cups of tea!!!! Cravings can be looked at like waves.. They intensify to a peak and then subside and the distance between them at first is very short... But if we ride them out their peak gets lower and the distance longer (not to say one big wave doesn't sideswipe us now and then!!! )
