80 Days
80 days today without filthy fags ruling my thoughts, myy body and my life. I've spent $1,250 on other stuff that makes me feel good that otherwise I would have set fire too and thrown the butt into an ashtray. Really, it's such a stupid thing to do ... you may as well roll up a $20 note everyday and set fire to it.
There have been hard, difficult, frustrating days, but I am so proud of myself for pushing though without giving in. I have a better life now in return for all the effort. I have a better relationship with my wife and kids.
And, don't know whether I should say so here, but being a non-smoker has dramatically improved my bedroom performance :) DRAMATICALLY!!
Whatever I do I cannot catch up with you. I am always one day behind at 79 days - ah well.
Tis a good feeling to have quit but the devil still tempts. Hopefully he will give up in time.

Excellent work MickeyJ ,congratulations I really think after 70 days it becomes easier to keep the mind from lingering and thoughts of cigs is almost non existant .Well done enjoy the new life,,,,,

MickeyJ, you are rapidly heading towards your century -- by next week you'll have passed 90 days! Even though I'm a female, I'm heartened by your bedroom observation! Improved circulation helps the ladies too, I'm sure... I also like your image of burning rolled-up money - so true. You are giving your family a priceless gift -- your health.
