Vanity!
Here is an embarrassing ... very personal ... confession. Vanity is helping me stay on track. In fact, I may be turning a little "metro". A couple of weeks ago, on impulse, I bought some moisturiser ... Nivea for Men. Also, I bought the little, more expensive moisturiser especially for under the eyes. I had been noticing for some time (as a smoker) wrinkles and bags developing under and around my eyes. To my surprise, and delight, the non smoking and use of lotions has improved my skin dramatically! So today, in order to further protect my skin and eyes, I bought a pair of bolle sunglasses - the first expensive pair of sunnies I've had in about 15 years. Now, I can't stop checking myself out in the mirror!
Next I need to remove the belly I have been developing. I think this might need to involve a gym membership. If I can reverse wrinkles on my face in just 2 weeks, I should have a six pack within a couple of days.
Too funny! You are such an absolute crack up. Good luck with the six pack. When i stop eating everything that's not moving, I may invest in a gym membership also. lol
Gee, I have just returned from an hours trek including 147 stairs which i managed to climb without stopping for the first time in the history of ever, this is a definite improvement in the lung department, mind you I couldn't talk for at least 5 minutes after.
You have inspired me to put some new cream on my shopping list for my WEEK ON A TROPICAL ISLAND WITH MY BESTIE next week. I too am reaping the rewards of not smoking.
good on you Mickyj. you can now enjoy those things you didn't you could. Feel younger and look younger. And defantly dont smell. I work in a shop and the smell of customers that smoke makes me want to be sick. And that's how we smelt. Keep up the good work your doing good for yourself and your family
