Yes! Yes! Yes! 1 month smoke free today, Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

Well I wouldn't say its been an easy road, Its been pretty tough sometimes but I have learned a few things along this road that I think will make it easier to remain a non smoker from here on..

I had a crazy few days at work, lots of stress, to where I had reached the pinnacle of stress itself, right up there I was, BUT through all that I wasn't tempted to give in , take the easy way out and just have a smoke. I focused on going for a power walk after work to get this stress out! Which I did and it was when I was walking that I thought hey to have a smoke now isnt the easy way out, Its the opposite,It would cause more stress, more pressure on myself If I did cos I'd feel like I failed etc etc. SO I learned that the act of " giving into the fags " actually creates way more stress on you in the long term.So those filthy little fags in my opinion didnt deserve that attention from me!!

So I guess on our Journey we use whatever works for us, and I guess then it paves the road ahead,So Im really pleased in my progess. I absolutely love the new smokefree me and honestly just don't have enough time to devote to cigarette's anymore, they are not worthy of consuming my head and thoughts anymore, they are gone from my life and Im a happier more contented person, because of that.I am who i want to be.. Healthier and alot happier because i have total control of my life and have put the fags behind me, where the smelly little money suckers can stay...

So good luck to everyone.

Stay strong and stay focused :)

Why does the urge to smoke linger for so long? Is it from sheer habit or is it the addiction to the nicotine that won't let go? I have returned to smoking on previous efforts after 3 months. I am determined to beat them this time.
