29 days smoke free

I am really enjoying being a non smoker I thought the test would be tested when I have gone out and so far I havent wanted to have a cigarette even though I have been going out. I went out on the weekend and have gone out since quitting ts been great not having to go out and have a cigarette.
I have noticed how much more time I have and how my smoking in the past robbed me of my time, I remember when I had to have a cigarette before going in and coming out of a place.
I have kept myself busy and the patches have helped alot too.
I have also noticed that I can run to places much easier , and how my clothes doesnt smell of smoke. I can also taste food more now.
My hair is much healthier too I have had alot of positive comments from my work collegues.
The best part about being a non smoker now is that i feel more confident and that I dont feel controlled by cigarettes any more. I am just trying to take one day at a time.
I can so far cross this off my new years resolution list now.
I hope to start exercising once daylight saving starts

Thanks for sharing your story Jessica, I'm about to get over that hurdle of going out without smoking.. I guess I've built it up to be such a big thing in my head (as like you, I was always smoking when I was out) so it was good to hear your positive reasons for not doing it and that you've managed to go out several times without having a smoke. I know I can do it and if anything, will have an even better night without stopping all the time to have a smoke :)

Well done Jessica, keep up the good work. I am up to day 32 and i have to say i dont miss the smell of smoke in my hair and on my clothes. Im going to the gym and im not out of breath anymore....so its all working out just great!
