Dealing with cravings

Hi There,

I have now been smoke free for 7 days, it feels great and I am so proud of myself and my husband, as we gave up smoking together. The cravings are still there every now and then.. On a Sunday morning for example, we would get up, make coffee, sit outside and smoke whilst chatting before breakfast.. So, this Sunday morning was strange.. Last Monday - Day 1, I started my day off with a nicotine patch - I also started reading a book called EASYWAY to stop smoking by Allan Carr and by Thursday last week I am patch free as well. Each time I get the craving I start thinking to myself, why would I want to put that poison into my lungs?? I don't want to be hooked anymore, Nicotine is nothing but a drug.."I am SO HAPPY to be FREE of the trap" This book has helped me understand a lot about the smoking circle. I recommend this book to all, the ultimate tool though is the commitment to yourself that you are ready to be a NON SMOKER.. It feels great let me tell you. Good Luck
