I have smoked for 26 years, my Mum died unexpectedly of Heart failure and my Dad is recovering from a Heart attack...not a great gene pool for a smoker! I am on day 10 without a cigarette, my whole family have been counting the days with me, we do a little "woo hoo" at the end of every day and that has helped me stay on track...don't think i could bear the disapointment in their eyes if i was to falter. My biggest challenge has been the 5 o clock wine! I have given that up too until I am confident I can indulge without the need to smoke (if I am ever that confident!) Am keeping very busy staying very active...kid's are probably sick of being dragged to play tennis, cricket etc by now. Trying to replace cigs with activity. Going well so far!!!
