Health reasons
I think at the age I am it is wise to quit for health reasons , and give my body and mind the chance it needs to recover.
The fact is smoking causes many health issues , causes leukaemia, cancers , unhealthy behaviours, extra stress, exclusion absence from public places , having non smokers exposed to my habbit and that of the smell.
We only get one shot at life and it's important to keep the body and mind healthy and clean in all areas of life other then purposely putting toxic chemicals , substances it to our bodies , thats my thoughts at present , take care

Keep up the thoughts of why you need to quit and adopt them also as reasons as to why you WANT to quit. An idea followed by an action gets a result. We can quit smoking once we really do WANT, Believe that we CAN and change how we have seen smoking in the past. It is time for change!
