I have been the fool

Starting my quit date on April fools day. The ironic thing is, I am the fool for smoking. I became a single dad about 10 years ago, after my partner died, when my daughter was 6 years old. She is every reason I get up every morning. She has made me a much better man I am today. My final step is to quit smoking, if I don’t, I know I won’t see my daughter grow up, and it would absolutely be devastate her. I want to be there as long as I can, to know she has become independent and happy in life, and maybe get to see grandkid’s? Here’s hoping.

You are not alone Dave. We all fell into the trap but we can find out way out. We have finally seen our way through the haze to seek a better life. We are giving up nothing and gaining everything. When you see and accept this simple fact it will make the transition so much easier. Choose to do this, for yourself as well as your daughter. Life is better as a non-smoker with nothing dictating our moves like nicotine does. Choose freedom!

I did the same for my grandchildren. I husband passed and I didn’t want my daughters to loose both parents neither. I’m 889 days. Lovin it.
