I recently started smoking again 😣 I quit for 9 months now I’m back on them 😣 need help with quitting again 😢

Hi Kylie. We always need to remember NOPE. We are nicotine addicts always!
I noticed that you have attempted to quit several times over the past 4 years and the intervals are lengthy. Those who want to quit usually persist and succeed. You have managed to stay smoke-free for 9 months. Breaking the habit of smoking is the hardest part. I hope that you enjoyed the status of a non-smoker and all of the benefits, rather than focusing on any negatives , like feeling like you were missing out on something. That is why the mindset is so important and to also keep visiting the site once you have succeeded.
Congratulations on the 9 months. You did it once and you can do it again, only this time make it permanent. Congratulations on reaching out for the support and motivation to get back on track again. You can do this!
ps. I don't know if you managed to nix the nicotine patches and aids. This time you might like to try Champix. There is no nicotine in it and you seemed to have a hard time with that step.

I get it Kylie given up before and taken it up again. Longest I lasted was 3 years, then I had a bad anxiety episode that lasted a few months and I started smoking again. Always felt bad I went back and stopped trying to quit for a long time. I realise now, its not a fail I saved my lungs for 3 years so its a win of sorts. Might I suggest you try again, straightway before the habit of smoking is in place again.
I am now over 6 months without smoking, and of late I have had a few moments where I really craved it again and know that is because I feel a bit uncertain in a new job and my anxiety is elevated. Knowing what triggers it, may help you understand why you go back. I would bet that, if you are anything like me something has changed your feeling of wellbeing and maybe you are off your game.
TIPS mindfulness - paint, draw, cook do something that makes you focus hard and distracts you - turmeric - active ingredient is curcumin which stimulates dopamine and reduces cravings - quit smoking hypnosis - download some podcasts and let them play while you sleep (recommend the The Hypnotist)
Don't lose faith, you did it last time. Remember its your brain, you control it, you are the master of your own decisions do not let cigarette companies steal your money and your life......telling them to go **** themselves haha get some attitude

Thanku everyone for the support 🙏❤️ So grateful for your kind words & support ❤️
