PVD

Posted in Reasons to quit
schedule 20 Feb 2021

After ending up in hospital diagnosed with PVD(clotted artery in groin)... that was enough for me to wake up and smell the roses..... well anything other than cigarettes really!!!!

schedule 21 Feb 2021

With these kind of tragic events, finally comes the understanding that the cigarette is not and never has been our friend. It did not take away our stress or contribute to our lives in any way. The nicotine in the cigarette merely kept us addicted and we were brainwashed into believing that quitting was hard if not impossible. It is time we get word out that quitting is EASY. We DO have the means to quit before it is too late.

I never thought I could quit until I stumbled onto a site like this and started to BELIEVE that perhaps I could quit smoking rather than just trying to control the damage that I knew it was doing..

It is time we stopped being ostritches and got our heads out of the sand.

Hi Rokin Ronnie, I do hope you are recuperating from this desease, sounds awful not to mention painful. Yes now is the time to get off of those damaging cigarettes once and for all time. Stay close to the forum, read as many posts as you want to and research more on the addictive substance of Nicotine. Good luck NOPE (not one puff ever)
