The last straw

Not one for many words,
However after many times trying to convince myself to quit, the straw the broke the camels back was seeing my not yet 2 year old pick up my ciggies and putting in mouth, and then when I saw her she said daddy, with a lighter in her hand. The cigarettes and lighter where in the bedroom, away from where she was meant to be.
That was the moment that I needed to understand how much of an influence I am on her, and didn’t want to be the person as a role model for my daughter.
I’m only 4 days smoke free, every morning I write my daughters name on my index finger as a reminder.

Keep up the good work!
That's a great idea to write your kids name on your finger!

I love that idea! ❤️ Good for you on deciding to quit. This is a wonderful community of people. Use them. They/we will help.

It sounds like you found the motivation to make this a choice in life. You can do this, and it is easier once your mind accepts it. Your heart will follow suit very quickly i think. Do you doubt that you are making the right decision.?
When you look at your finger can you find one reason to ever deny her anything in life while you indulge in sucking in poison?
Spend your reward money on Allan Carr's book and on spoiling her. You are both worth it.

That's such a beautiful idea Bruno. It's not easy but keep going. if you fall try and try again
