Want to breathe better?
I have finally made a commitment to stop. I smoke 40 a day and how I breathe now scares me.

Hello Rachellewants, Great to commit to quitting. Someone wise on this site said you are now a non smoker. Funny I didn't think that applied to me. Even now it's hard to to believe. So try to remind your self that you are a non smoker non ever time you want to smoke. One day soon you will forget about smoking. You may always have the urge from time to time but the cravings are less and less everyday you don't smoke. Congrats

Hello Rachaelwantstoquit. You have taken the first big step to change by joining IcanQuit. You can quit smoking as have countless others. Read and Learn. See how you became addicted and why you only think that it does something for you. Why you continue to believe it to be your crutch.
I have posted a link to Allan Carr's free book on line. I strongly advise everyone to read it. Believe that you can free yourself from the addiction and you will.

Congrats Rachellewant. It's not an easy thing to do but you have made that first step. Just remember NOPE-Not One Puff Ever. It does get easier, please believe us.
Keep up the good work.
