Here's another reason to quit that doesn't get much publicity. Bladder cancer is due to smoking in about 90% of cases. It is treatable to some extent, especially when low grade, but constantly recurs. High grade bladder cancer is about 50% fatal. Treatment consists of removing the bladder and often having an external plastic bag on the abdomen to collect the urine.

The 1st sign is usually hematuria, blood in the urine. So, if you see red blood in your urine, you'd better go see a doctor quickly.

Also, quit smoking, as it's never too late.

Hi Paid. I think this message must have sent some on this site into shock or maybe denial. Hope you can keep reminding me and others how smoking may make living without ones health may not be so enjoyable. Maybe those on this community can be reminded of how this "selfish" habit can so negatively affect those they love.
