I quit smoking so many times but I always keep coming back. It's hurting me in so many ways but since I've moved to Australia as a student, I have been spending so much on cigarettes and I can't afford it anymore.

Hi AdnanMajid,

I am now 1 year and 9 months smoke free but i have failed at least 50 times before that. With every failed attempt you learn something. I myself thought that i will became astronaut before i quit smoking :D and the feeling of doing something that i thought is impossible is absolutely amazing!

I really believe that consistency in trying to quit smoking is the key, attempt after attempt...

You can do it!

Please try like I am. I have a few ciggies left then I'm taking back my life. To think that something so small in size can rule our lives is wrong. We can pull through, let's help each other, how's that sound?

Hey Ivan. Thanks for the encouraging words. 1 year and 9 months means you're basically a non smoker now. Congratulations and you deserve so much appreciation for this achievement.

Dicky, I also have a few cigarettes left in my pack. Like 5 or 6. I've planned to go cold turkey afterwards. Let's do this.

Hello Adnan, just try to get through one day at a time. Don't worry about the next day, just think when you wake up "Thank you Universe, I don't have to smoke today!" How fabulous to be free!

Weewillem, thank you for that. I think that would be helpful.

Hi Red, I can see exactly what you're talking about and it makes perfect sense. I tried to quit 2 days ago but got another pack yesterday. I really hate it when I have to ask someone for a cigarette. I will finish this pack and will start thinking like a non-smoker. Thanks for giving a new perspective for this endeavor.
