Just do it...

How good is this. A copy from the past from another quitter.
I have noticed that the postings here come and regularly go and never return. I am so glad I was here nearly 1000 days ago and I was so fortunate to have the support and humour and insights others had. We were such a powerful and potent group. I can think of at least 15 people who took the ride. We were an amazing bunch. Connected so well on so many levels. I can honestly say we are no longer here because we have succeeded and our stories may not have much of an impact on newbies. Newbies cannot simply put out a mayday every time the going gets tough. You could share your story but give some insight into how you will tackle the next challenge. Seems some newbies are on a different page and often simply seek help as opposed to sharing their own methods of beating the demon.
Take note of this response from a fellow quitter.
"You are lucky to be alive , everytime you go to light a smoke remember the ambos and doctors and nurses that saved your life . I smoked for 37 years and have been 5 years smoke free and loving life . Remember when you give up you dont stink anymore , you can taste food, you dont cough your guts up every morning, Smoking will rule you as long as you let it , you must be head strong but it gets easier."
This is a challenge for smokers trying t quit. Instead of thinking someone else has the answer at every step of the way, respond to this and paint a more positive picture of where you are at and try to inspire others. Look forward to your response and a trip blazer or 2...

Hey Lia. Still 100 days ahead and let’s stay that way. Our class of 15 / 16 / 17 was a good one and I’m sure we all benefitted from each other’s sharing.
Great to hear from you and don’t be a stranger.

Congratulations on your success but its not real good form to discourage people with your "we were/are better than you" comments. We are all on here for the same reason and each person here has or is at least trying to give up the darts he same as you did.Success comes from effort, persistence, focus and strength.Praise and encouragement are rewards and reminders that we are doing well.Maybe the people who are no longer on here don't need to be or maybe they have slipped up,but they had a go.Encourage not discourage.Stay strong Lia and use your story for encouragement not self adulation.

hi colloquial. Cannot find any past posts from you on this site. Was wondering how your journey has progressed.
