My story

Hi everyone I'm starting to quit smoking with some nrt and I wondered if anyone has any advice for the times of the string cravings cause that's my usual downfall

hello bridetobe19 , the best thing is to avoid nicotine replacement therapy. Tomorrow morning, when you wake up , don't smoke. I promise that efter 72 hours-3 days- including sleeping;you'll be free of the stinkin' things. Wholemeal saladas, blue extra chewies, water and no grog. You'll succeed. cold turkey. heaps of money saved too. Go to it.

Hi bridetobe19
Well done on deciding to quit this nasty habit 🙂 I am on day 84 using nrt. I started with 2 patches for first 2 weeks then down to one using gum when those nasty cravings hit. I am now only using gum on the odd occasion maybe once a week or so. I have found nrt has worked wonders for me after smoking 35 a day for over 40yrs 😮
Have you talked to quit line 1300 quit ? They are amazing support. Good luck
