Hi guy's

Gee wiz i really dont want to quit, but whoa after 33 years of puffing those things man the unhealthyness cant be ignored.

The constant short breath sore lungs ,flemm in throat dry mouth , low drive, no enthusiasm for anything that might interfere with smoking. And like i read in comments i need a smoke to even consider giving the damm things up.

But they just eat you away one buy one slowly slowly. Theirs no way if we could have known how bad the effects are when your just starting, if some how you could feel what its like all those years latter i doubt anyone would light that first one up.

Im at a stage where i feel so run down with smoking and even around the ten year mark i noticed i should be a lot fitter than what i am as i was exercising and young..and everyday since then i repeat to my self thats it i quit, even through packets away.wet them as well to make sure i quite but 10 minutes later i go buy a pack..also i continously tell everybody i socialise with that im quiting..they all herd this speal i do day in and day out...

I want to smoke but know theur not healthy...

And i constantly try to tslk my self into stopping but never do.its driving me bonkers..i run through all the benifits ill feel from stopping the disgusting things but then i go lite one up saying to myself this is the last one. Then i smoke another..

I made myself fail & fail& fail again that now i feel i cant do it.

But ill go have one more then wet them and go to sleep..

And think about this.

Well said Red-67.

Allen Carr's book makes you realise that you're not giving anything up. In fact, you're gaining a lot more. $, health, aroma, sociability, etc.

Jason - something that worked for me: breathing like you're actually smoking while not holding onto a lit one. See if that helps you.
