More money in my pocket

You know what? At budget time, which is coming up, one certainty is that cigarettes will increase in price yet again, making life even more miserable for people who simply find it too hard to quit. I, for one, will NOT be contributing to the government coffers because of the outrageous cost of cigarettes.....

I totally agree, they aren't getting mine either!
I honestly think more and more are
starting to quit anyway which is great.

Hi Judes. I can't wait to see what another !2% rise will look like. Should be about $25? I get a kick out of going to the cigarette counter to ask occasionally what the price of a carton is now. When I stopped 702 days ago they were $196 a carton. Can see that going up to $260. Fast approaching the repayments on a mortgage... There have been a few rises since I stopped. I had had enough then. So glad I am smoke free at the moment. Plan to stay that way but always on guard.
