Day 1

Posted in Reasons to quit
schedule 20 Nov 2016

I have decided to quit today. Yesterday I could not blow my son's toy block out of my mouth and this morning I woke up & I could not breathe very well. I have tried quitting a few times before and was unsuccessful. I want to be there for my now 19 month old son. I plan to go to the Doctor first thing tomorrow morning and get a script for some nicotine patches, apparently they're cheaper with a script. Never tried patches so we will see.

Hi Gas'mum and welcome to the site. Here you will find great people who will offer advice and give you inspiration. You must be serious about quitting. You will be in for a very hard long journey that eases off dramatically the further you go. I have quit after 52yrs and i found that nicorette lozenges work better. Start with half and break down into quarters as you go. Full seem to cause hiccups. All the best and keep posting, as we are all here to help. Cheers.
