Hi Steve. Im on day 61 now and still consider myself a "newbie" so welcome :o) Even at day 61 I have already saved more than $1000 from the ashtray - ciggies are truly expensive these days!!!

You will quit if you WANT to quit - you've really got to WANT it. The journey is not easy BUT it is possible. Prepare yourself mentally and have heaps of distractions in place. Personally I'm using the patches and have developed a new addiction for chuppa chups (lol) but it works for me :o) You need to find what works for you and every time a craving hits (be it a mental or physical one) make the choice not to smoke - because it is actually just a choice. Now I'm by no means belittling the hard road ahead, but I CHOOSE not to smoke when the nicotine has a tantrum within me.

Good luck and keep posting :o)
