I gave up smoking as been in and out of hospital and thought enough is enough I'm still poorly even though I haven't had a cigarette for 12 days I haven't used anything to help just stopped, thought it would be hard but it's shocked me didn't know I had the willpower 😊

I also quit smoking 12 days ago just by willpower after 16 years of smoking. i just acted as if it is a very simple and easy decision so I can deceive my mind not to get attached or think about it for a long time. Believe me it worked and I didn't have lots of cravings during the past 12 days. Day after day I feel better and less anxious and hopefully I can make it and go on without smoke.

Well. Done. Gave up on willpower 145 days ago. It does get better. Cravings are only few per week but nowhere near as strong. I smoked for 50 plus years. I love the feeling of being so free from the smoke dragon.

Thanks to this site I have learnt not to go back every hour is a hour to add to life without nicotine, so will keep reading, walking and avoiding all of this demon, will come out the other side leaving nicotine one less slave.
