Day 1 has begun and I keep telling myself NOPE (Not One Puff Ever)and by
reading some of the stories and the quick response I got to my post and a lot of hard work on my part, I can give this quit my most confident shot knowing the support is there for me and others like me. I hope one day I to can provide support to others trying to quit.

Hi daffy
Just read your post and really really hope you are doing well!!!! Its soooo hard to stop and people who don't smoke can't really understand how we "rely" on a cigie for everything... Ahhhh I am on day 6 of champix and my quit day is day 10.... If you are struggling champix is awsome..... I have already gone from 20 a day to yesterday only 3 and today so far only 1...... Good luck in your journey you can do it!!!!!!! Kazzi

Hello, just joined. Been in bed sick and smoke free for 6 days. Must stop smoking, as much as I love it. Perversely, reading this great site makes me want to. Can anyone explain that? What about those occasions that have ALWAYS required a cig, psychologically, but can't be avoided, like visiting difficult mother? Baring my soul right up front here!
