After 11 years of smoking and failed attempts at quitting, yesterday was my wake up call, I have PCOS, I am only 25, I waited 8 months to speak to a doctor about treatment and when I said I smoke, I was given 2 options, smoke and receive no treatment or quit, then see a trained family planner for women with PCOS. My husband and I want to have a child, but I need to make the change to be able to have that family, I know that this is the start of a long road, but this is just the beginning of a wonderful future.

Perhaps Vaping is an option for you to start quitting. I am 62 and I smoked for most of my life. Quitting is hard, I have now 'cold turkeyed' for the second time in my life...The first time I stopped for 6 years and I was lulled into a false security of thinkung I was able to have one now and again. If you want to get pregnant, you certainly do not need the extra stress of going cold turkey. There are many people on his site that can help you with alternatives. Good luck.

Hi Lisa Jane when you make the decision to give up you think that it's all about stop smoking, however it is sooooooo much more than that. It is life changing because as you tick each each day off you realise that you have the confidence and determination to travel in a new direction, by establishing NEW HABITS not only in your day but in your life.the extra time you have gives you time in the day to research your NEWPath. It feels like you are finally at the helm of your life and FREE. The money is The BONUS reward that you bank separately for your new dream " a beautiful nursery for that lovely baby waiting to come to you" I can assure you the cigarettes fade into insignificance follow you dream, NOT a packet of darts. May your dreams come true xx
