I am a Grand mother to four Grandkids all under 5 years old ,I lost six of my teeth last year and had a small stroke about six months ago .I l am on my own, my children do not know I smoke.I need a walking aid to help me ...I would like to get my teeth fix that is my goal to save the money also to see my Awesome grandkids more can only try to Quit we see how I go
Sounds like a good reason and great motivation to not smoke again. It's never too late. My tip is to keep busy, get your mindset right and utilize this site. Oh and also remember to have a laugh even if it's at yourself.
Hi Judybear if there was one thing that I truly felt Lucky to have in my childhood it was my granma. I speak so fondly about her to my own children now . My mother is still alive and for my seven year old daughter my mum is her only grandparent. Grandparents have such a special ROLE to play in their grand children's lives and I can understand your resolve it is a great reason. The money us an added bonus on this journey. One thing Judybear is this is not a journey you have to take on your own. The quit line is great and they are just a phone call away and this website is fantastic you will have an instant group of supporters who will encourage and support you as well. Main thing is to see your doctor as there are heaps of options to use when you quit or even when you per quit. Need to talk to your Doctor. Anyway remember you are not alone. All the very best .
