My Journey for the... I dont know how many tries

I am 24 years of age, have an issue with alcohol tollerence as well as cigarettes. I've tried so many times to quit but have never actually pulled through more than a month. I have a game plan now and I want to present myself for my 25th Birthday as a non smoker... I'm so ready, so scared to fail, but I'm going in because this cannot be my life for good.

Job well done zuzie, you can do it. I know its easy said, than done. Its doable, if you really want to quit. I quit over 10 months ago cold turkey. I stopped smoking, and never look back. Now, I am very happy, and very proud of myself for not being a slave to tobacco. I smell awesome, and constantly rewarding myself with money save. You see its a win, win, situation. Best wishes!!! Stay quit!!!

If you are in your early 20's you have a huge advantage over 50 and 60 year old smokers who can remember paying $3 to $5 a packet. How you can afford $25 a pack is beyond belief. Take note of stories posted by others, enjoy this community of quitters and don't look back. I doubt if you will find a better support group. Listen to others and listen to yourself.

Go for it zuzie - you do have time on your side but don't let that fool you though, the sooner the better. If you don't do it now, before you know it this will end up becoming your life and you won't be able to get it back. Your still so young - you really can do it & do it now, I wish I did! You don't want to be trying at 30 or 40 or even 50. Read the stories here to inspire you. You have the right attitude, best of luck to you. You are worth it.
