Honouring my father

My father has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer...yes at first I quit as I became scared, however, thinking about it, the real reason is because if he can go through cancer treatment being painful I can go through a smaller issue in comparison and quit.

So sorry to hear this, Catmiao. My heart goes out to you and your family. It puts quitting into total perspective. A bit of discomfort for what...a few weeks maybe? Compared to lung cancer.
I wish you all the best and pray that your dad will come out the other side unscathed, with a new perspective. Commit to quit! I'm sure this site will support you through anything. Thank you for sharing.
