my reason to quit for good

hi my name is cassy i'm a single mum of 3 beautiful kids i've decided to quit so i can have a better life to spend with my children after my daughter came up to me an said mum if you keep smoking you will get lung cancer and to hear that from my 9year old daughter broke my heart and was a massive wake up call for me as i want to see my kids grow up i want to be able to feel healthier to breathe easier and be able to run around with my kids and have fun without getting short of breath and also save money to buy new things and hopefully take my kids somewhere special by saving the money i would waste on smokes but not any more as seeing how happy and proud my kids are for me trying to quit smoking is giving me more will power than anything to gain quitting smoking a success an become a non smoker for good

I also have a nine year old daughter who has been begging me to quit for ages. It was really hard explaining to her why I continued to smoke. Since I have quit (only 8 days ago) she has been my biggest support person. She made me a non-smoking chart that she has stuck on the wall she marks off each day after she asks if I've had a smoke today. It feels so good to see her face light up as she marks off another smoke free day. When I get to 40 days she says she's gonna buy me a prize! I don't think she really understands how much her support and enthusiasm is helping me. Your daughter will be proud of you and you can show her that even though it seems hard your tough enough to do it!
