I was diagnosed with breastcancer. After mastectomy I am cancer free. I was told that with chemo I would increase my survival with 1 1/2 %. I decided by quiting smoking I would increase my surval with more than 1 1/2 %. I was told of a person who would make me a non smoker after 1 hour for $500. My acupuncturist asked why I was going to pay $500 for not doing something. He said I was doing lot of things to stay healthy and strengthening my immune system, but with every cigarette was opening the door of my immune system and letting "sickness" in. For the first time in my life I was listening, after smoking for 44 years. I decided to slowly decrease the number of cigarettes and 15.06.2014 was my first smoke free day. I AM COPING. I believe now that I am and will stay a non smoker!

Great work Meike! No better reason to quit than the desire to live! As I say to everyone - It's your life!
